Not everyone can afford to hire a full-time personal assistant but Movoto gives you the next best thing. Movoto Agent Assistant is a digital toolbox of client communications, marketing, and time management tools. In the Movoto Agents App, your daily dashboard is a one-stop place for your recent communications, upcoming tasks, meetings, and any clients that need your attention. Your To Do list not only manages tasks you have manually scheduled, it also uses AI technology to automatically alert you to follow up with clients and offer tips on how to nurture leads. Your Client List and your Inventory sections help you manage all your client communications and property listings. With this suite of Agent Assistant tools, you can see and manage all your clients, sales, and duties in one simple, streamlined place.

How do Movoto Agent Profile Cards work?
The internet is the first stop for home buyers and sellers who are searching for homes, researching the market, and looking for the right agent to work with, so it’s important for agents to have a searchable online profile. With Movoto Agent Profile Cards, you can easily create your personalized agent profile—a simple place to highlight your experience, recent sales, specialty areas, past client reviews, certifications, and affiliations, complete with contact information. Plus, your agent card is pinned to properties you represent and appears in agent, map, and property searches in your metro area so it’s easy for prospective clients to immediately connect with you when they’re ready to take the next step.

How much does Movoto charge for online branding?
The Movoto Brokerage Select program includes branding on Movoto.com as part of your monthly subscription fee.

What is Social Sphere?
Movoto is making it easier for you to perform one of the most important agent duties—digital marketing and lead generation. With our new Social Sphere, you can share your agent profile, listings, and map searches of areas you represent to your broad network of social media contacts. Share your unique link—which will also prominently feature your Agent Profile Card so they know who to contact—to friends, family, and past clients, and you unlock a vast network of connections. With Social Sphere, you can potentially reach thousands of new clients.

How do we vet our client connections?
It can be frustrating when you’re connected with potential clients who aren’t ready to move forward. That’s why Movoto prescreens our leads before we pass them along to our agents. Once a customer submits a query, our team reaches out to make sure they are ready to buy or sell and if they are a fit for our agents based on their budget, needs, and location. If they’re not ready, we continue to nurture them until it’s time to connect them to an agent. Verified leads get patched to the top five agents that fit their criteria based on our proprietary algorithm. The first agent to accept the lead gets connected to the client instantly.

We qualify our clients by the following:

  • Check the customer's financial status. 
  • Interview the potential client to provide the agent with detailed information on what they are looking for.
  • Movoto's AI notifies up to 5 top agents matching client's criteria through their Agent Assistant. 
    Matching criteria include agent and client proximity, the agent's past performance with previous clients, how well the agent motivates the clients to close a transaction, how quickly the agent connects with their client within 4 hours and meets within 7 days, and how well they communicate with their clients.
  • The first agent to respond gets the client connection.
    This allows creating a better expectation and less probability for negative first impressions when the client connects with our agents.
  • An introduction email is sent on the agent's behalf so your new client knows who is reaching out to them.

How long is the agent contract?
The initial contractor agreement has a timeframe of 12 months, although agents may cancel at any time. Agents pay a small monthly fee as long as they wish to stay on the platform. They also pay a small transaction fee when they close a transaction.

Can I switch between Silver, Gold, or Platinum subscription levels?
You will be able to move between subscription levels at any time. The changes will be reflected the following calendar month and the benefits will be available once the subscription fee has been paid. However, downgrading from Platinum will nullify your options agreement.

Can I opt for a commission split or higher transaction fee instead of monthly platform fees?
Unfortunately, this is not currently an option. Movoto researched and created this payment structure not only to help agents increase their net income but also to provide long-term earning potential through stock options.

How does Movoto make money if it pays 100% of the commission to agents?
Movoto charges a monthly platform fee to provide online exposure, leads, technology, and marketing tools. Plus stock options so each agent is a part-owner of Movoto.

Does the 100% commission apply to Movoto leads as well?
Movoto does not charge any separate fees for leads. They are covered as part of the monthly platform fee. If an agent leaves the Movoto platform and closes a transaction with a Movoto-provided lead within 2 years, they pay a small referral fee.

As a Team Leader, I collect a percentage of my team members' commissions for providing them leads and mentoring. How will that work with Movoto?
Movoto makes it easy for teams to join the platform. Movoto allows Team Leaders to set additional terms with their team members that are separate from the contract each team member will have with Movoto.
